COCONUT SHELL ACTIVATED CARBON  is an amorphous form of carbon
characterized by high adsorptivity for many gases, vapors, and colloidal solids.
The carbon is obtained by the destructive distillation of coconut shell.

Hazard:
Moderate, by inhalation of dust. Flammable.

Uses:
Decolorizing of sugar, water and air purification, solvent recovery, waste
treatment, removal of sulfur dioxide from stack gases and "clean" rooms,
deodorant, natural gas purification, air conditioning.
