ALUMINIUM SULFATE 's Properties:
White crystals: soluble in water ( has a sweet taste ); insoluble in alcohol. 
Stable in air.

Uses:
Sizing paper, mordant for dyeing; foaming agent in fire foams, fire proofingcloth;
pH control in paper industry, waterproofing agent for concrete, clarifying agent 
for fats and oils, deodorizer and decolorizer in petroleum refinery processes,
precipitating agent in sewage treatment and water purification ; food additive.
